Honoring one of the most extraordinary aircraft of World War II, this TransportTag is crafted from authentic metal outboard wing fuel tanks of the legendary De Havilland Mosquito. Nicknamed the “Wooden Wonder” for its innovative plywood fuselage construction and breathtaking speed, the Mosquito served brilliantly as a fast light bomber, fighter-bomber, night fighter, intruder, and photo-reconnaissance platform.
In 2025 we were privileged to acquire a pair of original outboard wing fuel tanks from a private collector. These components once formed part of the legendary aircraft’s wing structure and carried the fuel that powered its extraordinary missions. In 2026 those historic tanks were thoughtfully upcycled into our TransportTags. Each tag preserves the authentic texture, patina, and character of the original steel — honoring the Mosquito’s wartime legacy while carrying its spirit of effectiveness and resilience into the present day.
A true relic, resurrected.
